Nūtral is a daily news brief. We try to collect as little about you as we can while still delivering the brief you asked for. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can get rid of it.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so we can deliver your brief.
  • Your first name (optional), so we can say hello.
  • The topics you pick, so we can tailor your brief.
  • Basic delivery metadata — whether an email was sent, bounced, or unsubscribed — so we know the product is working.

We do not ask for, or store, any other personal information.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data. Ever.
  • We do not share your email or topics with advertisers.
  • We do not run ad or analytics tracking scripts on your inbox.
  • We do not require you to create an account or a password.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of well-known providers to run the service:

  • Supabase — stores your subscription record (email, name, topics, status).
  • Resend — delivers email.
  • Vercel — hosts this website.
  • An AI provider (currently Google Gemini) — summarizes the news into your brief. Your personal data is not sent to the AI provider; only the public news content is.

How to remove your data

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also visit your account page to delete your subscription at any time. When you unsubscribe, we mark the record inactive; if you want it fully erased, email us via the contact page and we'll delete the row.

Children

Nūtral is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the "last updated" date above, and — for changes that affect how your data is used — we'll let subscribers know by email.
